Free Flow Engagement

Students use temPLAYtes as a tool to draw with accuracy and precision. By reminding students of symmetry and spatial reasoning they can create designs by implementing the elements and principles of design. Demonstrate the overlapping of shapes and repetition. Simple reversal, mirror images or reflection can produce unique designs which fuel pride and sustain engagement. The utilization of graph paper in one form of supporting spatial reasoning. A T-square, ruler or yardstick is recommended for larger- scaled projects.
